This Ramadan, we are hosting a Volunteer Recognition Iftar. Ramadan brings a unique atmosphere to our lives. It is a time defined by reflection, devotion, and a heightened sense of community. While fasting is a personal act of worship, the month also encourages us to look outward and serve those around us. This spirit of service drives our organization throughout the year, but it feels especially poignant right now. To honor that commitment, we are hosting a special gathering for the people who make our mission possible.
We invite our volunteers to pause and celebrate the hard work of our incredible team. This event is a small token of our immense gratitude for the time and energy our volunteers pour into their work every single day.
On March 12, 2026, we will gather to break our fast together. The evening will begin at 6:30 pm, allowing us to share the sunset moments and the Maghrib prayer before sitting down for a meal.
We have designed this evening to be a relaxing, joyful experience. You can expect a warm environment filled with good food and even better company. It is an opportunity to step away from the busy nature of daily operations and simply enjoy the brotherhood and sisterhood that forms when people work toward a common goal. We will share stories of the past year, highlighting the specific ways our team has made a difference.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. Without the hundreds of hours donated by our team, our impact would be a fraction of what it is today.
During this Iftar, we want to shine a light on the dedication that often goes unseen. From the early mornings setting up events to the late nights organizing resources, our volunteers show up with smiles and open hearts. This dedication deserves recognition.
We will present awards and share testimonials from the community members whose lives have been touched by our volunteers’ kindness. It is essential that we acknowledge not just the work done, but the spirit in which it is done.
We are eager to share this meal with you.
