From arts events to community service activities, Labor Day weekend will be busy for Dream of Detroit. Come out and join us Friday night downtown at Flat 151, put in a few volunteer hours Saturday morning on Waverly St., or just stop by to see us in the lobby at Cobo. Whether you’re officially registered for ISNA or not, we’re looking forward to seeing you during the convention weekend.
On Friday night, we'll be partnering with the Inner-City Muslim Action Network to bring their CommUNITY Café to Detroit for the first time. Check out performances from Brother Ali, Pontiac's One Be Lo, and Detroit's own legendary Jazz clarinetist and saxophonist Wendell Harrison performing a tribute to Yusuf Lateef.
