On Saturday, January 7, we’ll host our first of three one-day Community Organizing trainings for DREAM leaders and our partners in the neighborhood.

Our first session is called “The Mechanics of Community Organizing” and we’ll be covering the history of community organizing, discussing leadership development, and exploring ways to engage new people in your work. Our trainers have a range of experience from Detroit’s Michigan Faith in Action and Eastern Michigan Environmental Action Coalition to Chicago’s Inner-City Muslim Action Network. We hope you’ll come out and join us so that we can all be of more benefit to our community.
