The first Dream of Detroit house rehabilitation was completed in August 2013 and is currently being occupied as a transitional home by a member of the local community. The programmatic elements of this transitional home—home-ownership training, job readiness preparation, therapeutic counseling, spiritual advisement—are being managed by the experienced team at Neighborly Needs, with support from Mariners’ Inn, a 2013 Crain’s Detroit Business honoree.
