Justice In Practice: How Islamic Principles Guide Us When Systems Fail
Register now for our 5-week virtual course running from June 20, 2026, to July 25, 2026. We will be gathering on Saturdays from 11am-1pm via Zoom.
Our core premise is simple: it is time to move past simply talking about what justice is, and start understanding exactly what it requires of us when it matters most. We have to take this work from our minds into our hands.
What is “Justice in Practice”?
Let’s be honest for a second. We look around at the state of the world, and it is overwhelmingly clear that the systems meant to protect people are falling short. From local neighborhoods to the global stage, we are constantly witnessing the devastating impact of injustice. It is enough to make anyone feel helpless.
But as Muslims, we don’t have the luxury of despair. How do we respond to these systemic failures? We need to react with clarity, integrity, and faith, rather than just raw emotion.
We are so excited to introduce “Justice in Practice,” a new 5-week virtual learning series designed to ground us in the Islamic understanding of justice as a lived, breathing responsibility. Rooted deeply in the Qur’an and the powerful example of the Prophet ﷺ, this series is all about figuring out how to navigate injustice with principle and purpose. We are moving beyond the theory to equip you for real, principled action.
Who Should Attend?
This program is for Muslims seeking to live their values in complex, real-world situations. It is for community members committed to accountability and growth. Most importantly, it is for anyone ready to move from passive awareness to meaningful action.
You do not need any prior academic background to join us. All you need is a sincere intention to engage and do the work.
Why This Matters Now More Than Ever
We don’t always get to choose the systems we live under. But we are absolutely accountable for how we respond to them.
Islam calls us to uphold justice even when it’s incredibly difficult, even when it makes us uncomfortable, and especially when institutions fail us. This series is an invitation to return to that high standard and carry it forward into our communities with serious intention.
Let’s Get to Work
It is time to commit to practicing justice, not just understanding it. Spots for this program are limited because we want to maintain a meaningful, highly interactive experience for everyone involved.
Don’t sit this one out. Register today and let’s start doing the good work together.
