Make sure you come out TONIGHT (Wednesday) for The Ansar Collective’s annual tribute to El Hajj Malik El Shabazz (Malcolm X) and come out Friday to hear some timely wisdom and strategy from NYC Councilmember Yusef Salaam (of the Exonerated Five).
We could write a book about how the legacy of Malcolm X has inspired the work of DREAM, so we’re proud to co-sponsor this event for the second year in a row.
Event Details:
Date: Wednesday, February 21, 2024
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Historic Masjid Wali Muhammad

We’re also happy to share this event on Friday night from our friends at Historic Masjid Wali Muhammad and Emgage. Be sure to come out!
Yusef Salaam is a dynamic speaker who was recently elected to the New York City Council. He’s a member of the Exonerated 5, a group of young men falsely accused and imprisoned at the age of 15 in the “Central Park Jogger” case, whose story was told in the award-winning documentary, “When They See Us.”
