The fair is from 10:00am – 7:00pm and vendors can begin setting up as early as 8:30am.
There are 50 booths available on a first come first serve basis. All booths are covered under a canopy and comes with an 8′ table & 2 folding chairs. To use a booth to sell Food and/or Merchandise the fee is $80. If you are a part of an organizations who want to use a booth to pass out information only, the fee is $25.

The Detroit Street Fair will be held on Woodrow Wilson between Tyler and Buena Vista streets in Detroit, Michigan. Traffic on these two blocks will be redirected so that 50 businesses and their booths line both sides of the streets. Visitors will be able to walk the street market, shopping at the various booths. The street fair takes place on August 25th, 2018 from 10am to 7pm.
Vendors will be allowed to setup before the event, from 8:30am to 10am. Vendors must close down by the end of the fair at 7pm, no exceptions. Trucks will arrive to remove the tents, tables and chairs at 8pm. Individuals and businesses attending the Street Fair may be videotaped or photographed during the course of the Street Fair.
By reserving a booth at the Street Fair, you grant permission for Dream of Detroit and the Street Fair organizers to broadcast, webcast, publish, or otherwise report these materials for use.
As a vendor/exhibitor you can only use your assigned booth space. Any unauthorized use and/or reselling of your assigned booth is not allowed and will result in violation of terms of this contract. This action will void your contract for Street Fair space and will result in your removal from the Dream of Detroit Street Fair.

Confirmation at the end of this booth reservation grants you an exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the assigned booth space at the Dream of Detroit Street Fair within the guidelines & rules of this contract. The assigned 10 foot by 10 foot booth space includes two chairs and a business ID sign. Two sets of booth are placed next to each other covered by a 10 foot by 20 foot tent to be used by two vendors. The street fair will hold a maximum of 50 vendors. All displays must be confined to the assigned booth and should not obstruct the view or access to surrounding booths.
Fireworks, helium tanks and fuel tanks are prohibited at the Street Fair. All displays, discussions, & other activities must be confined to the booth. inappropriate visuals are prohibited. Audio, video, and multimedia equipment will be monitored by Street Fair personnel to ensure that a comfortable sound level is maintained.
Although the Dream of Detroit Street Fair will attract a large attendance, we cannot guarantee any specific sales volume for your products and/or services. Your sales will depend on several factors such as the quality of products and/or services, pricing, demand, economy, advertising strategy, and more.
- All food, beverage, merchandise requires a license from the City of Detroit. This license fee is included in the vendor registration fee.
- Alcohol and pork-products are prohibited at the street fair and may not be sold at the street fair.
- Sale of live animals is strictly prohibited.
- The sale or distribution of pirated materials, including but not limited to books, CD’s, DVD’s, software, etc. are strictly prohibited.
Dream of Detroit reserves the right to retract the Confirmation Letter and Contract and therefore close any exhibit and eject any exhibitor or exhibitor’s staff immediately from the Street Fair who/which participate(s) in illegal activities of any kind, is/are involved in any way with disruptive or dangerous activities, attempts to resell booth space for personal gain, violate(s) any of the terms or conditions of this agreement, or do(es) not immediately comply with instructions given by the Street Fair coordinator. Exhibitors and their staff are expected to follow ethics when dealing with customers & soliciting business, in Dream of Detroit’s sole and absolute discretion.
Exhibitors and their staff indemnify and hold harmless Dream of Detroit and its staff & agencies from and against all costs, damages, judgements or legal expenses which may arise from this agreement, set-up, exhibition, participation or dismantling activities during, before, and after the street fair.
Exhibitor also assumes all risks of loss, injury, theft or damage of any kind or nature whatsoever to any exhibit or component thereof; including but not limited to goods, merchandise, cash, records, or any other property.
Further, exhibitors are expressly bound, at their expense, to repair any damage which they may cause to the Street Fair fixtures through unauthorized modifications or movement or their exhibit. Dream of Detroit does not have insurance on vendor goods therefore vendors must have their own insurance for property, goods, merchandise and other materials.
Exhibitors and their staff indemnify and hold harmless Dream of Detroit and their respective agents at the Street Fair against any claim or expenses arising out of the use of the exhibition premises. The exhibitor understands that neither Dream of Detroit nor the Street Fair organizers maintain insurance covering the exhibitor’s property and it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance.
Full refunds will be issued for written booth cancellations made by the exhibitor by July 31, 2018. For cancellations between August 1 and August 15, 2018; only 50% payment will be refunded. No refunds will be made after August 15, 2018. All cancellations should be sent in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please retain proof of cancellation. If you are unable to attend the street fair because of any reason, Dream of Detroit will not be able to refund the booth payment after August 15, 2018.
